Lexington Monument Company, formerly Lammers Monument Company, is the birth place of Nebraska Memorials, Inc. Both owners began working there while in high school in the 1960s. In 1969, Kevin Bloemker came back and purchased the company. Harold Smith rejoined him in 1970.
